The Adventure Begins: Route 66

For years we’ve talked about taking the classic American road trip across historic Route 66, and this year we finally decided it was time to make it happen. Starting from Connecticut and heading west toward Santa Monica, we’ll be traveling across the country following parts of the legendary “Mother Road,” one of the most famous highways in America.

Route 66 is known for its small towns, vintage motels, roadside diners, quirky attractions, and that wonderful feeling of stepping back into a piece of American history. Our plan is to take our time, enjoy the drive, and explore the places that make this route so special — from neon signs and classic diners to scenic desert landscapes and unexpected little stops along the way.

Along the road we’ll be sharing photos, stories, and some of the memorable places we discover as we make our way west. More than anything, this trip is about enjoying the journey together, creating great memories, and experiencing a small slice of America that travelers have been enjoying for nearly a century.

So come along with us as we make our way down Route 66 — one mile, one stop, and one adventure at a time.
