We packed up again and headed out, our intent was to take a leisurely ride through Ohio and into Pennsylvania and do some antiquing. As with most of our trip, our plans changed and we decided we both just wanted to get home. We were only about nine hours away, a long day but worth it. The day and drive were smooth, of course until we reached the parking lot otherwise known as Connecticut. While it wasn’t too crazy, it was just enough to get anxiety up, at this point, we just wanted to be home.
Of course, realizing we had no food to speak of at home, a quick stop to our favorite restaurant, Aribella, for a nice meal and a celebratory cocktail were in order. And then we were home sweet home! It was a great feeling.
